#### Terminology

**Affordable housing**

> Assets or projects that are specifically marked by national or local government and are available to those with medium/low income.

**Underserved communities**

> Communities that are disadvantaged based on characteristics including race, ethnicity, geography and health accessibility.

**Refurbishment**

> Renovation or redecoration works undertaken by a landlord or tenant.

**Improved wellbeing of tenants**

> Measures or initiatives intended to enhance tenants’ health, comfort, safety, and overall quality of life.

**Development of community amenities**

> Assets or projects that create or enhance shared local facilities and services that support community needs and daily life.

**Nonprofit community housing**

> Housing assets or projects owned, developed, or operated by nonprofit entities with a primary social mission, typically prioritizing long term affordability or community benefit.

**'Property-backed' social businesses**

> Financing of an asset or asset pool that is intended for businesses with social impacts, like health-centres, collaborative office spaces, etc.
