Terminology

Collateral assessment

Process that evaluates property pledged by a borrower to secure a loan.

Loan approval

Formal authorization from lender that allows borrower to receive a loan.

Loan monitoring

Systematic approach on gathering of loan specific KPIs throughout the loan term.

Loan screening

Internal process focused on gathering and analysing available data related to the loan. It also includes uncovering and acknowledging risks associated with a specific lending decision.
