A disclosure on specific social objectives should, at a minimum, include the following:

* Clear business aspirations that positively impact society.

The stated objective will not be awarded points if it refers broadly to sustainability and does not cover a specific social topic.

Examples can include, but are not limited to, organization of charitable/local community events, improving employee satisfaction, and supporting local employment opportunities.

Best practice disclosures on social objectives often contain the following elements:

* Clear objectives and targets relating to specific projects or topics. Progress updates against these targets.
* Time-bound elements around the objectives.
* Explanation regarding the extent of integration between environmental and financial objectives
* Explanation of the extent to which integration of social objectives with business strategy and/or financial objectives fosters further alignment.

**Measurable**

**Time-bound**

> An objective with reference to a time frame allowing for monitoring/progression towards the goal.
